    Hi Team,
How does Attunity for redshift handle soft deletes and hard deletes for CDC?

    Regards

    Hello ram,

We are checking on this with R&D.

Could you provide more information about your Source DB and version of Replicate you have?

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hello Ram,

Replicate is able to apply deletes on the Redshift target and delete the target records (hard delete). This is the default.
If someone want to change it to soft deletes, he needs to use a table transformation with the operation_indicator function (more information about this function can be found in the doc).

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for the reply.
Could you tell me how this function is triggered?

    Regards
    Ram
