Resource use from CDC agent on main frame

    Good morning,

I'm currently investigating the amounth of resources that are used by the attunity cdc agent on the IMS main frame. In that light what are the deployment possibilities of the cdc agent on the mainframe? Could it be off main frame and if so what is the use of resources in this case?

Hope you can help me out!

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

The expected overhead of the CDC agent is similar to the overhead of the CICS user journals feature. The Attunity agent intercepts IMS storage calls where it writes records of interest into a zOS log stream.
