    Startup CDC service automatically after Oracle was back online

    Hello,
    We have Oracle databases and we shutdown the databases from time to time for maintenance.
    Every time we shut Oracle down, we have to manually restart the CDC instance service (on sqlserver) for that database.
    Is there a way we can setup so the CDC instance on SQLSERVER wakes up once the oracle database is back online.

    I tried to change the option in xdbcdc_config
    "cdc_restart_limit=-1" .... But ....
    1 - the service was still down after Oracle was back online
    2 - After a day or so, the option
    "cdc_restart_limit=-1" was gone, the option was reset to " ".

    I really appreciated any helps out there.
    Many Thanks,
    Estelle Tham
