    Getting "<> -SYS-E-ERRMSG, Permission Denied"

I'm getting a job failure with the error: error opening file <> -SYS-E-ERRMSG, Permission denied. Can you explain what this means?

This error may indicate that the target file has a read-only lock. R-1 can overcome this error for read-only files by using the "Transactional Deployment" option. To enable this option in the job definition, click "Properties" then click "Transaction" in the left pane. Enable Use Transactional Deployment. For Alternate Edge Temporary Directory, it is recommended to use a temporary directory that exists on the target and on the same drive as the target directory for the job.

Once configured, R-1 will transfer files to the temporary directory location then dynamically rename the files to the final target directory location breaking the read-only lock on the file.
