How to: Cobol 3gl, batch mode, calling adapter on the pc

    1. VB .NET Classes, compile the following on the PC where your COMadapter resides:
    MyDotNet1
    MyDotNet2
    2. Define two COMadapters in Connect with the previous names (MyDotNet1/MyDotNet2).
    3. Import the schemas:
    nav_util import sys MyDotNet1_def.xml
    nav_util import sys MyDotNet2_def.xml
OR Generate them using the a_net1.xml/a_net2.xml answer files.
    4. Test the Adapters in acxDemo.
    5. Test the Client_PC program. Make sure to modify the schema location.
(Included in the Client_PC subdirectory as MyDotNet1.xml/MyDotNet2.xml).
And specify your COMadapter machine's IP (replace the 10.0.0.1).
    6. Test the MVS side (Client_MVS):
6.1. Upload both schema files (you can change the HLQ):
    SUPPORT.MYDOT1.XML
    SUPPORT.MYDOT2.XML
6.2. Modify the source code file TWOINTCB, change your IP, and the location of the schema files.
6.3. Modify the build script (CMPTWOJ), and build the TWOINT program.
6.4. Generate a CMD file and run it.

    Hello

The idea is to execute vb procedures from whithin a COBOL program running on the MF.
The COBOL program is using the Attunity ACX3GL api to call an Attunity adapter on the pc, using xml protocol. An Attunity server on the pc acts as an adapter and calls the vb procedure.

    Regards
