SSIS/BIDS [Teradata [235]] Error: TPT Import error during Initiate phase, 207

[Teradata Destination [235]] Error: TPT Import error encountered during Initiate phase. CLI error 207 (no message text available)

Copying from flat file source to Teradata table via TPT Load, preview returns column headers, no row.
Source preview returns row ok. Test connection to Teradata ok, preview of flat file ok.

    Teradata 15.00 client tools installed.

This is the first time I've tried copying data from a flat file to a table on Teradata, not sure what to check.

    Thanks for any help,

    -Beth

Were you able to resolve this? We are getting the same error but pulling data from Teradata to SQL Server via SSIS. It's working fine on my laptop but not our server.

    Thanks

Yes, it's resolved. I think the problem that caused this error was using a text name for the server name in the Tdata Connection manager instead of the IP address.
I had another problem when the versions of SSIS components installed didn't match the Attunity versions, but I think that caused a different error.

Thanks for your quick response, I tried using the IP address in both the ODBC and Teradata connectors but got the following error:
There was an error trying to establish an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection with the database server. SqlState = 08004 Message = [WSock32 DLL] 10061 WSA E ConnRefused: The Teradata server is not accepting connections
Using the server name I get success for the connection test in both the ODBC and Teradata connectors and also get results when hitting preview in the Teradata source component, but I believe this is just using ODBC for the preview?

Hi - I have this problem - how did you resolve the issue please?

    http://forums.attunity.com/forums/od....html#post6114 (SQL Server 2016 to Teradata 15.10 - Attunity Connector, 32 or 64 bit?)
