The SQL Server driver supports the following isolation levels:

  • Uncommitted read
  • Committed read
  • Serializable

The isolation level is used only within a transaction.

The isolation levels supported can be overwritten in the binding settings.
SQL Server supports page level locking. Updates in SQL Server are blocking if another connection tries to access a locked record, the AIS is locked.

Update Semantics
For tables with no bookmark or other unique index, the driver returns a combination of most (or all) of the columns of the rows as a bookmark. The driver does not guarantee the uniqueness of this bookmark; you must ensure that the combination of columns is unique.
