Analysis Services v2005 uses XSL files to customize the SQL syntax sent to remote OLEDB providers.
Those XSLs are called cartridges. The cartridges directory for SQL Server 2005 32bit can be found under:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.3\OLAP\bin\Cartridges
A good explanation about this matter can be found in a book called Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services By Edward Melomed, Irina Gorbach, Alexander Berger, Py Bateman

The attached zipped attunity.xsl provides minimal customization to support Attunity Connect OLEDB provider. Just place this XSL file in the above directory.
This XSL is based on sql2000.xsl which is the default XSL file for other (non Microsoft) OLEDB providers.

The minimal customization was to eliminate the use of the “AS” keyword after the FROM clause.
The customization was to modify the “As” template as follows:

<xsl:template match="As">
<xsl:apply-templates select="./*[1]"/><xsl:text> </xsl:text><xsl:apply-templates select="./*[2]"/>
Further modification can be done to support additional features of Attunity Connect SQL syntax but this should be enough for most cases.
