    Moving navroot:[tmp] VMS

    hi there,

we have navroot located on the system disk. Is it possible to have [bin] on the system disk and [tmp] elsewhere?

    thanks,

Changing location of TMP directory in VMS

    Hello Jim

One way to change the location of the TMP directory is by defining a logical name, NAVTMP, that will point to your prefered location. Please note that you should define it system wide in case you want all your logs to be written there.
Another approach is to define for each workspace (server definition) a location for its log file, this is done by changing the value of the logFileName attribute in a workspace definition.
