    Archived Redo Logs deletion

We are on version 4.0.9.132. I have configured a data source to copy archived redo logs to a temporary folder, and for replicate to access the files from this folder.
Once I configured permissions correctly on the NFS mount point, it seems to be working OK.
However I am noticing that archived redo logs are not getting deleted from this temporary folder, even though I have checked this option in the datasource configuration.
Is there anything I have missed? Or are there any bugs in this area that we may need a fix for?

The latest version of Replicate is 5.5xx,

It is downloadable in the customer zone support portal.

Again, thank you for that information, but I don't really see how that is related to my question.

    Still not getting deleted

We've upgraded to latest version. Copied redo logs are still not getting deleted, anything we need to check?

setup a test task , small table.
    - set task to have source_capture and source_unload to have Trace logging.
    - then review the log to see when it read the redo log and the delete command to see what it said.

    Oracle DNFS makes copies read-only.

You mention NFS, but can you be more specific. Is this perhaps Oracle DNFS
The problem is that the archive REDO logs are created by Oracle on DNFS with read-only permissions,
And then Replicate cannot delete them after processing if using the delete REDOs after processing option.
Oracle indicated that they canít change that
Replicate intents to provide an enhancement to use another procedure to do the copy, but there is not comitted timeline for this.
If you have a support contract, then please be sure to open a formal support case for this problem mentioning "possibly similar to case 00153394"
Perhaps you can look at creating your own script to provision the redo log copies.
It may be easier to consider a script to change the protection on the copied file followed by a delete after a certain time.

    Hope this helps some,
    Hein
