The “Attunity Replicate UI Server” Service will not start.

    hello MartinP,

look like a .net frame work issue, as I remember you would need .net frame latest of 4.5xx.

    MartinP,
    1. try to uninstall Replicate, and then Reinstall Replicate.
    2. Also, try to use the version 5.2xx for the new install.

    Thanks,
    STeve

Hmm, did you READ the logs?

    >>> HTTP could not register URL http://+:80/attunityreplicate/ because TCP port 80 is being used by another application.

First of all think about port 80.
Secondly I don't like seeing that "+" there. Should be a hostname, or localhost.

    Check out the file ...Replicate\data\ServiceConfiguration.xml
It will contain something like :

    <ServiceConfiguration url="https://mybox:443/attunityreplicate;http://mybox:80/attunityreplicate" allowUnsafeProtocols="false" />

Please make sure the contents matched your environment needs, changing the ports as needed in your environment.
After that try to restart the Replicate Console service.

I did read it. Will try what you suggest. My issue is that you install a trial version things should work. A week later to get some help.

    martinp,

normally we see if port 80 or 443 in use by Skype, so that could be conflict with the Attunity port.

If you have Skype, try to stop it or use alternate ports.
