    Reducing Log Files

In order to reduce the number of log files created by Attunity workspaces you can point the individual workspaces to a VHS environment or to $0.

A good practice is to set the Daemon 'Server log filename format:' to the VHS environment or $0 and uncheck the 'Specific log file format:' for the workspaces. Then if you need to see the messages from a single workspace you can turn it on.

You can also redirect the Daemon to the VHS environment by updating the 'Daemon log file location' under the Daemon Logging tab to the name of the VHS process.
